Monthly Clay Modelling Course for Adults
4 × 2-hour sessions – 10.9. / 17.9. / 24.9. / 1.10. Regular time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Figurative modelling offers an opportunity to explore the human form through clay – a material that naturally responds to touch and allows creative ideas to develop freely. It is a space for experimentation, observing proportions, searching for expression and developing your own artistic language.
The course is designed for anyone who would like to create a figurative sculpture based on their own artistic intention. Each participant works on their own project and receives individual guidance throughout the entire process. Together, we will choose the most appropriate approach and technique according to the character of the intended sculpture.
The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced participants.
Course programme
Session 1 – 10 September
Introduction to figurative modelling. Consultation on the most suitable approach and technique according to the intended sculpture. Beginning of the modelling process.
Session 2 – 17 September
Building the basic form of the figure, exploring proportions, volume and the overall expression.
Session 3 – 24 September
Continuing the modelling process, developing the form, gesture and character of the sculpture.
Session 4 – 1 October
Completing the form, working on details, surface textures and the final expression of the sculpture.

- Working with Clay: You will learn the basic sculpting techniques and create your own unique ceramic piece.

Course details
- Duration: 1 entry = 8 hours of sculpting
- What's included in the price: Guidance from the instructor, materials (clay, all tools), two firings, tea/coffee/water.
- Location: Muoi Atelier, Floriánska 21, Vydrica, 81102 Bratislava
- Reservation: Spaces are limited, so prior reservation is required.
Additional information:
Cracks & Damage: During the firing process, items may develop cracks or become damaged, for example due to air bubbles in the material or uneven surfaces. Items with issues related to glaze, cracks, or damage cannot be refunded or claimed.
Pick-Up: Your pieces will be ready for collection approximately 6 weeks after the workshop. Once they are finished, I will contact you – thank you for your patience!
Uncollected Work: If the artworks are not collected within 1 month of the announced pickup date, we will proceed with processing them at our discretion.
